Bionic Promotional Campaign: Terms and Conditions

  1. Promotional Offer: This promotional campaign ("Campaign") is organised by Bionic Services Limited ("Bionic"). Under this Campaign, subscribers to The Backbone Small Business Newsletter from Bionic (“Eligible Customers”) are eligible to receive a £100 Amazon gift card ("Voucher") if they are chosen in the Issue #100 prize draw, subject to the terms and conditions set out below.

  2. Eligibility Criteria:
    • To qualify for the Voucher, Eligible Customers must meet the following criteria:
    • Each Eligible Customer must have subscribed at any time to The Backbone Small Business Newsletter from Bionic before 11.59pm on 3rd February 2025 (“the Qualifying Period”).
    • A subscriber is defined as an individual whose details are registered on Bionics' Substack.

  3. Voucher Details:
    • Only one (1) Voucher will be issued per Eligible Customer, regardless of the number of meters sold.
    • The Voucher is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other alternative.

  4. Voucher Issuance:
    • The Voucher will be sent via email as a gift card claim code to the Eligible Customer’s registered email address within one (1) month of the date of the prize draw (4th February 2025).
    • Bionic is not responsible for any delays or issues with the delivery of the Voucher due to incorrect or outdated email addresses provided by the Eligible Customer or any unforeseen circumstances which are out of the control of Bionic.

  5. Campaign Duration:
    • The Campaign is open to Eligible Customers who subscribed before 11:59pm on 3rd February 2025.

  6. General Conditions
    • This offer cannot be combined with any other promotional offer or discount provided by Bionic.
    • Bionic reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all claims and to withhold the Voucher if the eligibility criteria are not met or if fraudulent activity is suspected.
    • Bionic reserves the right to amend or withdraw this Campaign at any time without prior notice.
    • These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising in respect of these terms and conditions.
    • The prize draw is not open to employees of Bionic, their families, agents, or any third party directly associated with the administration of this Voucher.
    • Bionic accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the Voucher and not specifically included in the Voucher.
    • Bionic reserves the right to replace the Voucher with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond Bionic’s control make it necessary to do so.
    • Bionic shall use and take care of any personal data the Eligible Customer supplies to it as described in its Privacy Policy, and in accordance with data protection legislation. By entering the Campaign, the Eligible Customer agrees to the collection, retention, usage, and distribution of their personal information in order to process and contact them about the Campaign and/or Voucher.
    • If for any reason any aspect of this Campaign is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of Bionic which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Campaign, Bionic may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Campaign or invalidate any affected entries, where required.
    • Bionic reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
    • Eligible Customer participating in the Campaign are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry.
    • Bionic reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
    • Bionic shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation, or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.

  7. Limitation of Liability
    • Bionic accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, or disappointment incurred or suffered by customers as a result of entering the Campaign or accepting the Voucher.
